Retail Security Officer

Pinnacle Group is looking for a vigilant Retail Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our prestigious retail site and will be joining our security team based in Scunthorpe Town Centre. Your role will involve monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining detailed reports. You will need to be observant, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills. This is a Permanent Role of 37.5 hours per week – you will be working straight shifts on a rota basis ( which will include weekends ) with the earliest starting at 6 am and finishing around 7 pm - Overtime can be available to cover holidays and sickness

Key responsibilities will include:

• Complete daily security tasks, including the use of client software and security CCTV systems in the control room 
• Take accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries, and all relevant paperwork to a high standard - including reporting in detail any incidents occurring whilst on duty
• Carry out routine foot patrols of the centre 
• Liaison with local authorities including police, emergency healthcare services, or even fire extinguishers in case of an emergency
• Key Holding - Locking and unlocking premises

Key requirements:

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
• Full 5-year UK checkable work history
• CCTV / 1st Aid at Work experience
• Be able to access, control, and manage large crowds of people efficiently and quickly.
